It seems that in the 2013 municipal elections the Twitter revolution finally happened in [to] Macedonia. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the past few years there were couple of politically driven, socially charged issues [protest against police brutality, protest against rising electricity and heating prices] that used Internet, social networks and technology in general. However none of them were significantly successful. &lt;/p&gt;
